The Oregon Ducks football team, a.k.a. Webfoots back in the day, chose to wear blue and yellow from 1894 to 1924. It wasn't until 1925 that the student body voted to force the football team to adopt the official school colors for it's uniforms, and the Ducks have worn some variation of green and yellow ever since.
